What is threading?

Threading is an ancient hair removal technique that originated in Iran, India, and Central Asia and has picked up recent popularity in Western countries with removing and shaping eyebrow hair.

Threading is used with a very thin thread of cotton that is first doubled and then twist. The thread is simply rolled over unwanted hair to be removed resulting in longer lasting hairless skin!

Unlike tweezers where you can usually only pluck 1 or 2 hairs, threading however, can remove an entire short row of hair at once!

What are some other advantages compared to waxing?

With waxing, it is really hard to be precise in shaping fine curving lines like eyebrows because wax is a glue like substance that can be very tricky to get in all the right places and especially to make sure you don't get it in the wrong places!

With Threading, it allows the aestheticians to have more in shaping eyebrow exactly to your liking. Another great benefit with threading is that it can be used on any skin type. There is no harmful chemicals used so people with sensitive skin can be worry free!
