Frequently Asked Questions
eyebrow threading? What Exactly Is It?
Threading is an ancient hair removing technique that was practiced for centuries by the beautiful women of Asia and the Middle East. It is considered on of the best alternative to waxing and tweezing, especially for people with sensitive skin.
Threading is typically used with a one hundred percent cotton thread that is twisted around the fingers and rolled over hair follicle to remove hair from the roots. Threading makes easier to shape eyebrows accordingly and to quickly and efficiently remove body hair.

Can Men Thread Their Beard?
Yes they can! One of my loyal clients Andrew who owns a local mobile bartending service in San Diego comes in frequently to get his beard threaded. the great thing about threading is that it lasts a lot longer than shaving!
How long do eyebrows last after threading?
The threading technique removes hair through it's roots so you can expect it to last longer than other hair removing techniques. Some people see results lasting for as long as 3 to 4 weeks, but it can highly depend on the rate your hair grows.
How frequently do people get their eyebrows threaded?
typically our clients come back every 2 to 3 weeks. Personal preference can determine what you like. With that being said, you can get threading done as frequently as you like. With threading, there are no harmful chemicals used that may harm your skin.
What If i Tweeze after my threading session?
I don’t recommend it. Threading will actually help slows down hair growth. If you tweeze your hair in between your threading sessions, you will increase hair growth. Every time you tweeze, it will further increase hair growth and may also cause irritation of hair follicles, which can cause ingrown hair and coarser, darker hair.
When should i get my eyebrows threaded if i've been tweezing?
I recommend you wait at least 3-4 weeks to get your eyebrows threaded if you've been tweezing your eyebrows continually. If we try to thread your eyebrows too soon, the results might not be as desired. We need to let the hair grow out in order to grab the root when threading.
Can I Thread the rest of my face?
The simple answer is YES! Threading requires only the use of a 100% cotton thread. No chemicals or harmful substances that might damage your skin. The best part is you don't have to worry about threading doing any harm to your skin.
Can threading be done on someone with sensitive skin or using skin medication?
Absolutely. I’ll say it again, threading is 100% natural so it can be done on any type of skin.
